This is from an update to the game, and wasn't originally available as an option. Now you can have full experience of the game without spending money. Don't have a screenshot, had no time for that atm, but I'll try next time. I got 1 from daily objective "get 190 food in under 1 minute". You CAN use credits on the play store to make this purchase. He is 0.99 for one, or a bundle of 5 for 4.99 (USD).

He does NOT collect weapons, clothes, or interact with anything alive.Īs an alternative to the very rare chance of getting him from a lunchbox, you can buy Mr. Handys gets anywhere from 2 to 13 caps every 5-15 minutes. The longer he is out, the higher the range of caps. At first, it will range from 2 to 5 caps every five minutes. If you send him to the wasteland, he will collect caps as often as every 5 minutes, as long as every 15 minutes. He cannot be equipped with weapons or clothes doesn't have a stat for happiness (although he makes some pretty good lines about how shitty everything is), and cannot or reproduce. When he dies, it costs 2000 caps to restore him to full health. If you drag him to a level that currently has an incident occurring on, he will respond to it, and then return to the level he was on before he was sent to the incident floor (just like dwellers). Unlike dwellers, he will chase enemies from room to room, as long as it's on the same level still. He will go straight for incidents, as oppose to just traveling through the rooms. He also has weapons, and a fire extinguisher, and will respond to incidents. You must first assign one to a different (third) floor. This is important in a scenario where you want two Mr. Handy, the room box will highlight grey at the corners instead of green. He will not specifically seek out a room. He will just simply travel left to right, over and over, and collect a room he goes through. If a room doesn't ahve production (like storage), he will still travel to/through that room, and do nothing. Handy is assigned to a Floor, he will go left to right on the floor, and if a room if finished with production, he will collect it for you. Not every lunch box will have a legendary item (yellow glowing item), and not every legendary is a dweller. Lunchboxes earned/purchased AFTER 8/13/15 patch, have the same to chance to generate as any legendary dweller. So the lunchboxes from before 8/13/15 have ZERO chance of generating a Mr. The contents of a lunchbox are determined when you unlock them, NOT when you open them.
